The weekend had come and passed in a blink of an eye. However, I was grateful that I had cherished every moment by: “Eating, Praying and Loving”.
“Eating” traditional cuisine such as traditional Mexican food had really open my world of food. I realised that in a Mexican cuisine, the most important dish is not the tacos, neither it is the tortillas nor the burritos, but the salsa or the “cili sos” as Malaysian would like to call it. Freshly prepared salsa is the best "dish" and I was lucky to be able to savour a traditionally prepared Mexican salsa using traditional stone mortar and pestle.
Ingredients for this Mexican salsa is very simple and straightforward which comprise of garlic, onion, olive oil, tomatoes, a pinch of salt and last but not least the "secret ingredient".......
"Loving" every moment that I have and spending it with people that I love is the best activity that I could ever think of. The activity can be as simple as watching a movie, playing tennis, enjoying a meal, having a drink; as long as your loved ones is beside you, it is all that matters.
"Praying" for peace and love is all I could ask for in my life. Life is short. Cherish every second that you are breathing.
Well, folks, enjoy the "spices of life" (even tough the spices consist of grasshoppers, it is still very tasty =P), live well and have a nice week ahead. See you in my next blog.
